Rafael Antonio Ruiz-Ayala is a Capital Member in the Real Estate and Commercial Financing Practice Group and part of the Hospitality Industry and the Insurance Practice Areas.

Practice Areas

Mr. Ruiz-Ayala's practice includes corporate and public finance, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities laws, insurance and leasing, tourism development laws, and horizontal property. He is member of the firm's Merger and Acquisitions, Hospitality Industry and Insurance Practice Groups.

Education

He did his undergraduate work at Harvard University where he obtained a Bachelor in Arts degree in Government, magna cum laude, in 1985. He obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School in 1990 and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Puerto Rico School of Public Administration in 2003. Mr. Ruiz-Ayala is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English and proficient in French and Portuguese.
