Elí E. Díaz-Atienza is an Associate in the Real Estate and Commercial Finance Group.

Practice Areas and Experience

Mr. Díaz-Atienza has experience in several areas of real estate and construction including acquisition, disposition, administration and valuation of real property, project management, project supervision, permitting and estimating.

Before joining McConnell Valdés, he worked with Banco Popular de Puerto Rico's acquisition, disposition and administration of real estate property. Mr. Díaz-Atienza has over eight years experience in the real estate and construction industries where he has been involved in various real estate development phases including purchase and sale, project management and supervision, design, permit approval, estimating, QA/QC and commercial and residential appraising.

Education

Mr. Diaz-Atienza obtained a Civil Engineering degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1999, cum laude. In 2006 he obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and has recently completed graduate MBA coursework in Economics, Accounting, Strategy, Finance, Marketing and Management at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business.

Mr. Diaz-Atienza is admitted to practice law, engineering and real estate appraising in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

He is a member of the College of Engineers and Land Surveyors of Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Bar Association and the Appraisal Institute.
